Once you've created a floor plan, you can start building it using a tracing image and building components. Tracing images are an image of your floor plan that you use as a guide to draw and place your building components.
While a tracing image is not required to build a floor plan, it helps you scale your floor plan and then add your building components in the right spot.
Tracing images are only visible on the Admin Panel.
If you'd like to include an image on the Members Portal, add a background image.
Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.
- Click Inventory > Floor plans.
- Click on the relevant floor plan.
- Click on the Edit tab.
- Click on the More actions menu.
- Select Tracing image.
- Click on Select file.
- Select the file you'd like to use from your device.
- Adjust the image scale as needed.
Make sure your floor plan is scaled up enough to allow you to build a clean and clear walls. - Click on Save floor plan.
All set! Now that you have your tracing image, you can start adding building components to your floor plan, such as walls, windows, and stairs.
