What Is PayPal Commerce Platform ?

PayPal Commerce Platform is a card payment method that lets you connect any PayPal account to Nexudus. Once PayPal Commerce Platform is enabled on the Admin Panel, customers will be able to pay their invoices from the Members Portal using PayPal Commerce Platform.

Customers don't need a Paypal account to use this payment method. When customers click on this payment option, they're prompted to add their card details to go through the checkout process on the Members Portal.

What You Need to Enable PayPal Commerce Platform

A PayPal Commerce Platform Account

You need a PayPal Commerce Platform account that's fully set up and live to enable this payment method. You'll also need the email address you use for this Paypal account.

Enabling PayPal Commerce Platform

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel if you aren't already.

  2. Click on PayPal Commerce Platform.

  3. Add a Payment gateway name.

    This is the name of the payment option as it will be displayed on the Members Portal.      

  4. Fill out the Transaction fee section if you want to charge customers for using this payment method.

Most european countries, including the United Kingdom, don't allow businesses to directly charge customers for using a particular card payment method.

Always check your local laws and regulations before implementing any transaction fees.

  1. Add your PayPal Commerce Platform email and password in the Login and Password fields.

  2. Click the Save Changes button.

All set! We recommend you test the payment flow on the Members Portal with a dummy customer and an actual invoice to make sure payments are processed as expected.
