Setting up NexBoard

You need to set up NexBoard on every tablet you want to connect to resources.

What You Need

An Admin Account Dedicated to NexBoard

We recommend you create an admin specifially for NexBoard to avoid repeating your setup.

You can create a full unrestricted admin or a restricted user with a role that includes the following permissions:

  • AccessToken - All
  • Booking - All
  • Business - All
  • Checkin - All
  • Coworker - All
  • RefreshToken - All
  • Resource - All

You'll need to repeat the setup process if you don't use the app for over 14 days.

Disabling Auto-lock on Your Tablets

You need to disable the auto-lock on your tablets to ensure their screen doesn't automatically shuts off after a few minutes.

Android

  1. Open the tablet's Settings.
  2. Tap Display & Brightness.
  3. Tap Auto-Lock.
  4. Select Never.

iOS

  1. Open the iPad's Settings.
  2. Tap Display & Brightness.
  3. Tap Auto-Lock.
  4. Select Never.

Setting up NexBoard

  1. Download the app on your iOS or Android tablet.

  2. Open the app.

  3. Log in using admin credentials.

  1. Select your location.

  1. Select the resource you want to link to the tablet.

You're all set! Your occupiers can start using the app straight away to book this resource or check its availability.

You can repeat the process on any other tablet using the same admin account to connect more resources.
