Validation Rules

Article Summary

What are Validation Rules?

Validation rules are records checks that help you prevent customers and admins from creating or editing a record if a specific criteria or condition isn't met.

For example, you want to make sure all customers have a VAT number on record or you want customers to purchase a specific product such as passes before they can book a resource.

Validation rules work with records created or updated on the Admin Panel, the Members Portal, the companion apps, and the API.
