What You Need to Enable GoCardless

All you need to use GoCardless as a payment method is an account with them.

You can use the same GoCardless accounts in all your locations or use a different account per location.

Enabling GoCardless

You need to enable the payment gateway individually in every location where you want to use GoCardless.

You have to enable GoCardless in each location where you want to use it as a payment method.

If you manage a network of 3 locations, this means enabling GoCardless 3 times or once in each location.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Settings > Payments > Payment Methods.

  3. Select GoCardless.

  4. Enable the payment method.

  5. Enable the Active for member/contacts toggles based on which customers should be able to use this payment method.

This only impacts new customers joining your space.

If you already onboarded customers, you'll need to manually enable GoCardless as a payment option in their account or contact support to do it in bulk before sending them direct debit requests.

  1. Click the Save Changes button.

  2. Click Connect with GoCardless.

You are redirected to the GoCardless login page.

  1. Log in to your GoCardless account.

You are redirected to Nexudus.

  1. Click the cross icon in the top right corner of the GoCardless integration page.

You've successfully enabled the GoCardless integration in Nexudus. You now need to send direct debit mandate requests to your customers to let them pay their invoices using GoCardless.

If you've already onboarded customers before enabling GoCardless, you must enable GoCardless as a payment method in their account before sending them the request. You can do this in a few clicks on the Admin Panel. If you have a significant number of customers to go through, contact support. We'll enable GoCardless for them in bulk. Once that's done, you can easily send them the direct debit request.
