Deleting Merge Fields

If you added a dynamic field by mistake, you cannot delete it like standard text with the backspace key of your keyboard.

1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

2. Click CRM > Document templates.

3. Click the document template you want to edit.

4. Click the Launch editor button.

The template editor opens in another browser tab. Your document can take a few seconds to load.

5. Click on the dynamic field you want to remove from your document template.

6. Click on the Data tab.

7. Click Delete Field.

Repeat steps 5, 6, and 7 for any other dynamic field you want to delete.

10. Click on the File tab once you've removed all the relevant fields

11. Click the Save button. 

You can now close the editor tab and use your document template.
