What is Guest Checkout?

Guest checkout lets users without an account make bookings, purchase event tickets, and purchase products without benefits.

Guest checkout is enabled by default in Members Portal 5.

If you want to disable guest checkout, you'll need to make certain customizations to your default sign-up form.

How does Guest Checkout Work?

When guest checkout is enabled, users can do the following on the Members Portal without creating an account:

  • make bookings
  • purchase event tickets
  • purchase products without benefits

Guest users will always have to pay upfront. They'll also be prompted to create an account when they check out and again when they receive their email confirmation.

Because guest users don't have an account, they can't manage bookings or event tickets. They'll need to contact you directly if they want to:
