Releasing Print Jobs Using Passport

What you need to use this feature

Initial Setup

The first time you try to release a print job using the Passport app, you'll need to add your printing credentials — email and PIN code. Past this initial setup, you'll be able to release prints by simply tapping your phone on the reader connected to the printer.

  1. Open the Passport app or its white-label equivalent on your phone.
Don't have the Passport app yet?

You can download it from the App Store or Google Play.

  1. Log in to your customer account if you aren't already.

  2. Tap the Release prints tile on the app's home screen.

  1. Hold your phone next to the reader connected to the printer.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

  1. Add your email and your PIN code on the printer.
Don't remember your PIN code?

Tap the Show PIN button on the app to see your PIN code.

All set! You're ready to release print jobs using the Passport app or its white-label equivalent.

Releasing Print Jobs

Once you complete the initial setup, all you need to do to release print jobs is:

  1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  2. Open the Passport app or its white-label equivalent on your phone.
  3. Tap the Release prints tile and hold your phone next to the printer reader.
