Tablet screens must be over 7 inches. We recommend displays between 9 and 12 inches for optimal display and ease of use.

Tablets must connect to Wi-Fi to download and use the app.

Bluetooth

Tablets must support Bluetooth 4.0 (also known as BLE) or above.

Access to the Apple Store or Google Play

Tablets must have access to the Apple Store (iPad) or Google Play (Android tablets) to download the app.

An admin account dedicated to NexIO

We recommend you create an admin account for NexIO. We recommend a dedicated admin account for the app because your displays is automatically disconnected every time the admin account used to set up the app requests a password reset.

Having a dedicated admin account helps keep your tablets up and running and helps you avoid repeating the setup process.

You can create a full unrestricted admin or a restricted user with a role that includes the following permissions:

  • AccessToken - All
  • Business- List, Read
  • Checkin - All
  • Coworker - List, Read
  • RefreshToken- All
  • Resource - All
  • User - List, Read, Create

For more information, check out User Roles for Apps.
