What are Pay As You Go Passes?

Pay As You Go (PAYG) passes allow customers to check in to your space when they don't have a valid pass in their account.

PAYG passes are sold on their own automatically and cannot be added to products or plans.

PAYG passes charge customers in 15-minute increments based on a set hourly price. You can sell PAYG passes to members and contacts at different price points and even set custom rates for members of specific plans. You can also set a daily cap for your PAYG pricing.

For example, you can set up a PAYG pass that's priced at $10/hour for members and another PAYG pass that's priced at $15/hour for contacts with a $100 daily cap for both.

Customers will not be notified that they are being charged for a PAYG pass when checking in without a valid day or time pass.

For this reason, it's important to communicate your PAYG policy and pricing to customers as well as to set a daily cap for PAYG charges.

Before creating a PAYG pass, you must first enable PAYG passes in your Check-in Settings on the Admin Panel.
