You need to set up NexIO before you can use it in your space. The setup only takes a few minutes and you only needs to do it once.
What You Need to Set up NexIO
An admin account dedicated to NexIO
We recommend you create a dedicated admin account for NexIO because your displays are disconnected every time your reset the password of the admin account used to set up the app.
Having a dedicated admin account for NexIO keeps your tablets up and running at all times and helps you avoid repeating the setup process.

Disabling auto-lock on your tablet
You need to disable the auto-lock on your tablet to ensure its screen doesn't automatically shuts off after a few minutes.
Android
- Open the tablet's Settings.
- Tap Display & Brightness.
- Tap Auto-Lock.
- Select Never.
iOS
- Open the iPad's Settings.
- Tap Display & Brightness.
- Tap Auto-Lock.
- Select Never.
Setting Up NexIO
Download NexIO on your iOS or Android tablet .
Open the app.
Log in using your Nexudus admin credentials.
Select your location.
Tap Allow or OK to authorize NexIO to detect neaby devices.
Tap Allow or OK to let NexIO access your tablet's camera for QR codes scanning.
Tap Allow or OK to let NexIO use Bluetooth to let occupiers use the Passport app to check in and out.
All set! You're ready to use NexIO.
