Adding Financial Accounts

You can add financial accounts from the Settings section of the Admin Panel.

Planning on using an accounting integration such as Xero or QuickBooks Online?

Make sure the financial accounts you create in Nexudus are an exact match (name and code) with the accounts already set up in your Xero or QuickBooks account.

  1. If the navigation menu isn't visible, click the menu icon in the top left corner of the page.

  2. Click Settings > Invoices & tax > Account.

  3. Click Add Account.

  4. Name your account.

  5. Define your new account's Code.

  6. Add a short description of the account if needed.

  7. Select an Account type.

Account Types
  • Sales - suitable for any type of item you sell through Nexudus.
  • Payments - suitable for any payments you receive through Nexudus / a payment provider.
  • Deposits - suitable for all deposits.
  1. Click the Save Changes button.

You've successfully created a new financial account. In order to complete the financial account setup, you need to assign this account to the relevant items of your inventory via the chart of accounts.
