Managing Discussion Board Conversations

Article summary

You can start conversations to share information with your customers or spark community interest around any topic of your choice. You also have the option to delete some conversations if they go against your community guidelines.

All admins who want to contribute to conversations also need a customer profile in order to post messages to discussion boards.

Adding Conversations to Discussion Boards

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Community > Discussion board.

  3. Click Post message.

  4. Add a Topic.

  5. Add your Message.

  6. Select a Group.

  7. Add Tags to make it easier for customers to find your message.

  8. Click on Select file and select an image if you want to include a Picture.

  9. Enable the This message is private... toggle if you only want to share your message with users you mentioned.

  10. Enable the Instant delivery toggle if you want customers to receive the notification as soon as you post the message.

  11. Click the Save Changes button.


Deleting a Conversation from the Discussion Boards

You cannot recover deleted records in Nexudus.

  1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

  2. Click Community > Discussion board.

  3. Tick the checkbox next to every record you want to delete.

  4. Click Delete xx record(s) in the Bulk actions menu.

  5. Click Yes to confirm your action.
