Connecting Floor Plan Items to Resources

You can connect any of your floor plan items to resources in your inventory and let customers book them.

When connecting a resource to one or more floor plan items, you define how those items can be booked through the resource's details.

For example, a meeting room can be connected to its corresponding floor plan item to let customers see where it is in your space before booking it on the Members Portal.

You can also connect multiple floor plan items to a single resource.

A typical example would be making a bank of hot-desk bookable by connecting a single resource to multiple hot-desk items. Since pricing and booking rules are likely to be identical for all hot-desks within the bank, using one resource and connecting it to all the relevant items lets you manage how they can be booked in one spot.

Connecting Resources From the Floor Plan

1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

2. Click Inventory > Floor plans.

3. Click on the floor plan you want to edit.

4. Click on the Items tab.

5. Tick the checkbox next to every floor plan item you want to connect to the same resource.
   

6. Click on Connect to resource in the Bulk actions menu.

7. Select the Resource you want to connect.

8. Click Yes, do it to confirm.

Repeat the process for every other floor plan item you want to connect to a resource.

Alternatively, you can also click the three dots icon next to anyfloor plan item and then click Connect to resource.

Connecting Resources from the Inventory List

1. Log in to dashboard.nexudus.com if you aren't already.

2. Click Inventory > Inventory list.

3. Tick the checkbox next to every floor plan item you want to connect to the same resource.
   

4. Select the Resource you want to connect.

5. Click Yes, do it to confirm.

Repeat the process for every other floor plan item you want to connect to a resource.

Alternatively, you can also click the three dots icon next to any floor plan item and then click Connect to resource.
