NexIO Settings

You can manage the settings of the app by clicking Settings > Companion apps on the Admin Panel.

You won't be able to see your saved Admin Panel changes until you close and reopen NexIO on your tablet.

General Settings

General settings let you control the functionalities available in NexIO. You can easily activate these settings or turn them off as needed.

Setting Details
Enable the member check-in screens Lets members check in by tapping the Members button on the app's home screen and then adding their PIN code.
Enable member check-in via Bluetooth Lets members check in by simply holding their phone near the tablet if they have the Passport app or its white-label equivalent and Bluetooth enabled on their phone.
Enable the visitor pincode check-in screens Lets visitors check in by tapping the visitor button on the home screen.
Enable the visitor self registration screens Lets visitors register themselves on the spot using NexIO.
Include QR codes in visitor confirmation emails Lets you include a QR code in all the confirmation emails sent to visitors to let them check in by scanning the code using the tablet's camera. Make sure you also activate the Enable QR Scanner in app home page toggle for this feature to work.
Enable QR scanner in app home page Lets visitors check in using a QR code included in the confirmation email they receive when they are registered by a customer or an admin. You also need to activate the Include QR codes in visitor confirmation email toggle above for this feature to work.
Always present terms and conditions before checking customers in Presents your space's general terms and conditions. Customers and visitors still need to accept the terms and conditions of your space prior to their first check-in and every time you change your terms and conditions.
Primary Color Lets you choose the color used as a background for all the app's buttons.

Form Field

All the following form fields are toggled on by default. You can toggle off any number of them at any point on the Admin Panel.

Setting Details
Ask for visitor email Add an Email field to the visitor self-registration form.
Make visitor email a required field Makes the Email field required for visitors filling out the self-registration form. The Ask for visitor email setting must be active for this feature to work.
Ask visitor to choose a customer as their host Adds a Host field to the visitor self-registration form.
Require visitor to choose the customer they are visiting Makes the Host field required for visitors filling out the self-registration form. The Ask visitor to choose a customer as their host setting must be activated for this feature to work.
Ask for visitor company name Adds a Company field to the visitor self-registration form.
Ask for reason for the visit Adds a Reason for the visit field to the visitor self-registration form.
Show newsletter opt-in check-box Adds a checkbox that lets the visitor subscribe to your newsletters.

Customers selection menu filters

This field lets you control which customers are listed when the Host field is available on the visitor self-registration form. The default formula displays all active members in the relevant location.

Bluetooth Beacons

If you are using BLE beacons, you can configure them using the values listed to let customers place and start bookings through NexBoard.
